The Legislative Arm of Ojodu LCDA held its plenary session on Thursday, September 18, 2025, with deliberations centered on oversight functions and strengthening governance within the council.
As part of its oversight responsibilities, legislators planning visits to Primary Health Care centers across Ojodu LCDA to assess service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
In addition, a Health Insurance Bill was proposed to provide healthcare access for current, past, and future legislators, ensuring their wellbeing and productivity.
The House also scheduled Familiarization Tours for next week to foster stronger partnerships with public and private institutions, aimed at enhancing community development.
Furthermore, preparations are underway for a Budget Performance Appraisal to evaluate progress and effectiveness in the council’s service delivery.
The Legislative Arm reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku, in delivering the HEYS Reloaded Agenda—bringing governance closer to the people and ensuring sustainable development in the constituency.
