Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi MHR Oshodi Isolo Constituency 2 Lagos honoured the Iri ji Nzuko Ndi Anioma invite in Lagos at the palace of His Royal Honour Eze Dr. Vincent Iweobi on 2nd November 2025. Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi was ushered into the palace amidst great fanfare and traditional fanfare, where he paid homage to the esteemed guests and leaders of Ndi Anioma in Lagos.
The event is a significant cultural celebration among the Igbo people, promoting community, gratitude, and cultural heritage.
During the ceremony, Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi thanked Njiko Ndi Anioma worldwide Lagos branch for honoring his invite to his second-year anniversary and thanksgiving service that held on 20th September, 2015. He pledged his support to the proposed Anioma State.
The President General of Njiko Ndi Anioma worldwide, Chuks Smith (Obuzor Anioma), highlighted the association’s achievements, including empowering over 500 women with N100,000 cash, cash, supporting over 150 widows, and providing relief materials to 300 members.
His Royal Honour Eze Dr. Vincent Iweobi expressed appreciation for Hon. Okey-Joe’s presence and pledged his support, assuring that all Anioma indigenes in Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 will overwhelmingly support him. “You are a wonderful and good representative. Because you have done well, we will support you overwhelmingly,” he said.
