Mr Adimalbo Silva, Head of Driver Operations For Africa, InDrive. In his interview with The Eye News in the just concluded InDrive Safety Education summit 2.0, he said “this event is a testimony of what InDrive has being doing so far in Africa for both drivers and passengers. All the features we are adding to InDrive is to make everyone have the knowledge and know how they can use it for their own safety.”
Q: what other features should we expect from InDrive in the nearest future?
Ans:”Currently we have alot of features but it’s not only about these features but the way they are going to be use by both drivers and passengers. Currently in InDrive before you come in contact with your driver, from the InDrive App you can choose your preferred driver, you can see the rating of the driver and the number of ride of the driver. We have drivers with more than 10,000 ride in the App. Because of the features we heve before you take the ride, it will help you to take better decisions on your ride. During the ride you can use emergency contact or share your ride trip with your friends and family members.”
“To improve the safety on our ride, our drivers are undergoing training on safety which will help them to be of good behavior and to handle things in case of an emergency during the ride.”
