HEALTH

We aim to impr

ove the quality and accessibility of healthcare
across Ojodu by upgrading primary health centres, ensuring
the availability of medical staff and essential drugs, and
launching grassroots health awareness programs—especially
on maternal health, sanitation, and common diseases like
malaria and hypertension.
Why It’s Important in Ojodu:
Many constituency in Ojodu still rely on overstretched health
facilities or private care they can’t afford. Strengthening
healthcare here means fewer preventable deaths, healthier
families, and a stronger workforce. It also reduces the pressure on major hospitals outside the area.

consistent supply of

essential drugs and

services at dispensaries.

The goal is to ensure every child in Ojodu—

regardless of background—has access to quality

education. This includes renovating public schools,

supporting teachers, providing digital learning tools,

and engaging parents and communities in education.

Why It’s Important in Ojodu:

Ojodu is full of brilliant young minds, but many public schools are

EDUCATION

The goal is to ensure every child in Ojodu—regardless of
background—has access to quality education. This includes
renovating public schools, supporting teachers, providing
digital learning tools, and engaging parents and communities
in education.

Why It’s Important in Ojodu:

Ojodu is full of brilliant young minds, but many public schools are
overcrowded and under-resourced. By investing in education,
we’re not just building classrooms—we’re building futures. This
will also reduce the number of out-of-school children and keep
youth away from street life.

YOUTH

We are committed to empowering Ojodu’s youth with
vocational skills, startup support, sports facilities, and
creative platforms. The agenda also promotes mentorship and
civic engagement to raise a generation of responsible,
productive young leaders.
.
Why It’s Important in Ojodu:
Ojodu has one of the largest youth populations in Lagos. Sadly,
many are underemployed or idle, making them vulnerable to crime
and exploitation. Giving them a voice, a skill, and a stake in their
future will reduce insecurity and turn the youth into agents of
progress.

partners to equip public schools

with Science and ICT

laboratories.

Implement erosion control and flood

prevention measures in high-risk

canal communities, including

construction of bridges and modern

drainage systems.

Waste Management Reform

Equip PSP operators with

advanced tools and launch

community-based sensitization

programs on waste separation and

recycling.

Green Ojodu Movement

Institutionalize monthly

sanitation and tree-planting

drives, with school and

community participation.

SECURITY

Our plan includes strengthening community policing
structures, installing street lights in dark areas, collaborating
with local security outfits (like vigilantes and neighborhood
watch), and launching peace and mediation programs for
hotspot communities.
.
Why It’s Important in Ojodu:
From isolated incidents of robbery to issues of cultism, insecurity
remains a concern in parts of Ojodu. A secure Ojodu attracts
businesses, reassures residents, and ensures our markets, schools,
and streets are safe. Security isn’t just about law enforcement—it’s
about community trust and protection.

7. Security & community safety
