The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, OON, has commended the Lagos State Police Command for its outstanding achievement in dismantling a notorious gang of exotic vehicle vandals.
The police detectives, under the command’s intelligence network, successfully arrested Jude Onouha, the kingpin and principal suspect, who disguised himself as a security personnel and wielded a vehicle jack as a firearm to execute criminal activities.
This remarkable breakthrough highlights the unwavering commitment of the Lagos State Police Command to ensuring the safety and security of Lagos residents. The gang’s modus operandi involved gaining entry into estates under the pretext of conducting investigations, only to vandalize high-end vehicles.
Rt. Hon. Faleke expressed profound gratitude to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, for his exemplary leadership, as well as to the detectives for their diligence and professionalism. He noted that efforts to apprehend other gang members and accomplices are ongoing.
He also urged residents to remain vigilant by verifying the identity and authenticity of security personnel seeking access to their estates, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration with the police in the fight against crime.
