Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi, MHR representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, strongly condemns the senseless removal of his signage at Iyana Isolo road, commemorating the construction project of Mushin-Isolo Road. The project, initiated by Hon. Ganiyu Johnson has seen significant progress under Hon. Onuakalusi’s leadership, with the first phase completed and the second phase ongoing.
This brazen act of vandalism, perpetrated by APC hoodlums, is a stark manifestation of the depths of depravity and desperation that these individuals have sunk to. The removal of the signage is not just an attack on Hon. Onuakalusi’s efforts but also a denial of the people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II the recognition they deserve for the progress being made in their community.
We demand that the authorities take immediate action to investigate this incident, identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II deserve better than to have their development projects hijacked by partisan politics and thuggery.
