Uganda marked its independence anniversary with notable visitors, including two Nigerian legislators Hon. Okey-Joe Onuakalusi MHR Oshodi Isolo Constituency 2 Lagos and Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, MHR representing Eket/Onna/Esit Eket/Ibeno federal constituency, Akwa Ibom who graced the occasion. They were warmly received by Ugandan officials, including Anne Twinomugisha Muhairwe, Deputy Inspector General of the Ugandan Government.
The celebrations showcased Uganda’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and resilient spirit. In her remarks, Muhairwe highlighted Uganda’s progress since independence, emphasizing peace, stability, and economic growth.
